The short version

YourYD doesn't ask you to sign up, doesn't track you across the web, and doesn't sell your data, because it never collects any in the first place. Everything below just explains that in more detail.

What we actually store

Two things, and both stay on your own device:

• Your preferences. Theme, accent color, and your last-used currencies are saved in your browser's local storage so the app remembers them next time. This never leaves your device.
• Exchange rate requests. When you load rates, your browser makes a request through our server to fetch current rates. No personal information is attached to that request.

Third-party data

Exchange rates come from the Frankfurter API, a free service backed by European Central Bank data. We don't share anything with them beyond the request itself.

Cookies and tracking

We don't use cookies, analytics scripts, or any third-party trackers. There's nothing here watching what you do.
